What We Collect

When you use Relationship Hero, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information — name, email, phone number, age, gender, and relationship status. None of this is required; you can use our service without providing identifying information.
  • Coaching content — messages you exchange with your coach, notes your coach writes about your sessions, and any information you share about your situation.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your credit card or bank details.
  • Session recordings — if your coaching session is conducted over Zoom, it may be recorded. You will be notified during the call and can opt out.
  • Usage data — basic information about how you interact with our platform (pages visited, features used).

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve our coaching service
  • Match you with coaches and support continuity across sessions
  • Generate session notes and coaching materials, sometimes with assistance from AI tools (see "AI Processing" below)
  • Process payments
  • Send you service-related communications
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

AI Processing

We use AI services from OpenAI and Anthropic to help coaches with tasks like reviewing notes and creating materials. This means pieces of your coaching content may be sent to these providers for processing.

Your data is never used to train AI models. Our agreements with these providers prohibit the use of customer data for model training.

Who Has Access to Your Data

  • Your coach — sees the messages, notes, and session content from your sessions with them. Coaches do not have access to your sessions with other coaches.
  • Relationship Hero staff — for support, quality assurance, and platform operations.
  • Coaches are independent contractors, not employees.

Your coaching content is never shared with anyone outside the platform. No third party — including advertisers, data brokers, or employers — receives your personal information or session content.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate our platform:

  • Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting and application infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • PayPal — payment processing
  • Zoom — video coaching sessions
  • OpenAI — AI-assisted coaching tools
  • Anthropic — AI-assisted coaching tools
  • Google Ads / Meta — conversion tracking

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. These services only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function and do not have access to your coaching content (except OpenAI and Anthropic as described above).

Tracking and Cookies

We do not place third-party tracking cookies on our site. We send conversion data to Google and Meta through our backend servers for advertising measurement purposes. This includes hashed identifiers (such as email or phone number) for conversion matching. It does not include your coaching content.

Data Retention

  • Coaching content and account data — retained for the duration of your account and a reasonable period thereafter.
  • Zoom session recordings — deleted within 90 days.
  • Deactivated accounts — archived for one year, then eligible for deletion. You may request immediate deletion at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data — email support@relationshiphero.com and we will honor your request
  • Object to specific processing activities

We honor deletion requests under GDPR, CCPA, and comparable privacy laws regardless of where you live.

Data Transfers

Your data is processed on servers in the United States. By using our service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in the US.

Children

Relationship Hero is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform.
